Sleeper Picks 👀
Under the radar — buy before everyone else does
New Balance 990v4 "Grey" — M990GL4
Made in USA, limited production runs, growing collector base. NB 990 series is having a genuine cultural moment and v4 is the most undervalued in the lineup right now.
$185 retail
~$240 resale
StockX →
Nike Cortez "Forrest Gump" — DN1791-101
Nostalgia plays always have legs. The Cortez is having a cultural revival, this colorway is the one that started it all, and supply is tightening. Early buyer advantage is real here.
$90 retail
~$180 resale
StockX →
Adidas Spezial — Any Wales Bonner collab
The Samba gets all the attention but Spezial collabs quietly flip at 2–3x. Less hype = easier to buy at retail = better margins. Watch the Adidas drops page.
~$180 retail
~$400+ resale
StockX →
ON Running × Zendaya Cloudnova Moon
ON is the fastest growing performance brand in sneakers right now. Zendaya collabs sell out instantly. The resale market is still developing — early movers will capture the premium.
~$190 retail
~$350+ resale

Where to Buy — Platform Cheat Sheet
Same shoe, different price — always check all three
💡 The golden rule: check all three platforms before buying
GOAT
Best buyer protection. Widest selection including used/worn condition. Good for rare sizes. Slightly higher prices but worth it for peace of mind.
Shop GOAT →
StockX
Best price transparency — live bid/ask market means you always know real market value. Lower buyer fees. Best for flipping as a seller.
Shop StockX →
eBay
Often lowest prices — no buyer fees. Use Authenticity Guarantee filter on all purchases over $100. Great for less hyped models and older releases.
Shop eBay →

The 6 Rules of Sneaker Resale
Don't break these
01
Know your size before drop day
Use SneakTools to confirm your size for each specific model. Yeezys run small. Dunks run narrow. Getting the wrong size on a limited drop kills your margin.
02
Never buy hype — buy scarcity
Hype fades. Scarcity holds. Limited production + strong brand story = lasting value. General release "hyped" shoes almost always disappoint on resale.
03
Buy sizes 9–11 when possible
These sizes have the deepest buyer pools and consistently command the highest absolute prices. If you can only buy one pair, buy a 10.
04
Check all three platforms
The spread between GOAT, StockX, and eBay on the same shoe can be $30–$80. Always compare before buying or selling. Takes 2 minutes, saves real money.
05
Keep the box and tags
Deadstock (unworn, with box) commands 20–40% more than worn on most hyped shoes. If you're buying to flip, never take them out of the box.
06
Sell within 30 days of drop
Most shoes hit peak resale in the first 2–4 weeks. After that, supply catches up and prices normalize. Don't hold hoping for higher — move fast.
